Through years of surgery, Mr Kode has understands how women with overly large breasts may experience both health and emotional problems.

The weight of excess breast tissue may cause back, neck and shoulder pain for many women, and limit their level of physical activity.

It may also lead to self-consciousness and makes it difficult for some women to find clothes that fit and flatter the figure.

Additionally, research indicates that there is a significant link between breast reduction and a lower risk for developing breast cancer. By removing excess fat and breast tissue, Breast Reduction Surgery (Reduction Mammaplasty) may alleviate physical discomfort and increase self-esteem, also facilitating a more active lifestyle and the freedom to wear a wider range of clothing.

When Mr Kode performs Breast Reduction Surgery, the breasts are reshaped to become more aesthetically pleasing and in proportion to the rest of the body.

A thorough consultation is an important part of your Breast Reduction, in which Mr Kode will discuss with you your desired breast size and shape, taking into account your body type and lifestyle.

During the Breast Reduction procedure, Mr Kode makes incisions around the areola of the nipple and removes excess fat, glandular tissue and skin. In some cases, liposuction may also be used to remove fat. The breasts are then lifted and re-shaped. The areola is reduced in size, if necessary, and moved to a higher position.

Following surgery, you will notice the results immediately, with final results visible once swelling and bruising has subsided. You will most likely wear a support bra for 3 months to help breasts hold their new shape and after a few weeks, you should be able to return to normal activities. With the method used by Mr Kode, the nipple remains attached to glandular tissue, giving the patient a good chance of breast feeding. Big breasts are notoriously bad for breast feeding, so it is not necessary that you have your family prior to having your surgery.

The change in quality of life has been assessed to be the same for breast reduction and hip replacement.
